This post if for those of you who have been wondering about the new Sufix Leadcore. I must say that I am greatly disappointed in it. I really love the Sufix Seige mono but this leadcore does not meet my approval. The colors ran something aweful. I found the line to be fairly stiff and have difficulty getting off of the reel because it was holding its memory from being on the reel. I also had both test lines I was running break the lead inside the braided sleeve. The experiment is over and I will be putting Kerplunk back onto those two reels.

As much as I like Kerplunk, I find the lead core Cabelas sells to be very easy to work with AND 200 YARD SPOOLS ARE 1/2 THE COST OF KERPLUNK. I'm not one to cut corners on fishing gear as most of you know, but the Cabela brand is just fine for me. In a pinch, I'm a huge fan of Kerplunk however.
