We are going, and hoping to do as well as last year. Providing the launches are open. Might be going up to check things out this weekend.

My bait dist told me that yesterday the southern end of the lake went up 18'' with all the wind the water.

The camp that we normally stay at the only way to get to it is by boat.I talked to the owner the other day when he was in camp and there were carp swimming around camp!!!! They are launching at apple island and getting some fish according to the Lake Champlain web site.Mac and I will do the Plattsburg Derby and there is a checkin station at apple island launch.Lot of junk has been washed into lake so it will be slow going and look out for just about anything floating or submerged.Do not think the islander will fit under the bridge to mallatts bay and to fish main lake so the sea will be the spot.May have to trailor boat to malletts launch to go to main lake.Only hope for the best.Good luck to all that go and give us a call on 68 B-man

According to the Lake Champlain Fishing Forum, the Rotary derby has been cancelled due to the high water.
Might want to look into it
