I had the fun of taken two guys fishing today that have not fished very much. We went to Waukawaun in Meredith. The Rainbow fishing was non stop for 5 hours. I will not post how many rainbows were brought in the boat. The fish were down 4-5 colors on leadcore, and 24-27 on the riggers. The best lures today were the Top-Gun pumpkin, the DB Pink and gold, and the gold old orange Super-Duper. These two guys are hooked and were talking about buying a boat. I tried reminding them that its not always like the day we had. They had videos going, pictures going and a whole lots of high fives. I also noticed the water temp at 77.5 degrees, this caused us to keep multiple fish. The stress on the fish was causeing them to go belly up. Hopefully things cool off, this hot water is hard on the fish. Good luck if you go out.
