Setting lines by 5:00, Water initially flat until rain started then a nice chop and very small waves. Overcast, still rather dark, surface water temp around 78 degrees.
Salmon on before all 4 lines were set. Very fat 19", 8 colors leadcore. on a homemade taped watermelon. Ran watermelon and wonderbread the entire time. Lead outfished riggers (I have 2 riggers again) 2 to 1. Rigger was most productive around 34 feet early, lead at 8 colors.
No runts, no lakers and no rainbows. All salmon from 15 to almost 20", all healthy and all released.
You gotta love it when the lake sets up like this.
