I have a 16' utility starcraft rigged for trolling with leadcore and downrigger. My boat came with a 25hp E-Tec. According to my GPS it trolls down to 1.2 w/o a hiccup/cough/spit or sputter and top end is around 26mph. I personally have owned yamaha, honda, and merc all 4 strokes and they all performed flawlessly.
