2 depth finders same boat?

I need some help. I have purchased a new Garmin 300c color machine and I would like to keep my old Hummingbird LCD and mount it on the back of the boat to assist the downrigger person without asking for depths. I intend on mounting the transducers on
opposite sides of the transom. Will they interfere with each other? Is there a better way to accomplish this? Thanks for the help!
