Re: radios, for new people with radios, (I may be corrected?), it is my understanding, that channel 16 can & should be monitored at all times. I think you will find that the Coast Guard monitors that channel, and seriously frowns on people using it in non emergency situations. Ch 68, I know, is used by many anglers on Champlain. I think that most anglers on Winni chat on 12?
