"Not So" Big Jim, my 7 year old Brady and I left Merrimack at 4:15am heading up to the lake. It started off DARN cold, not gonna lie. My truck said it was 23 when we launched. The lake was flat as glass and we were the 2nd ones off the ramp. What a beautiful day it turned out to be on the water. We fished until noon, as I had to be at a family event early in the afternoon. Overall we got 8 salmon to the boat, 2 little dinkers about 14" and the rest all in the 19-21" range. None were monsters, but I wasnt complaining. All released except 3 that we brought home for dinner. The boat ran well, the gear did its job, and we had a good time. All of the fish except 1 were caught on the planer boards, trolling lead core. Silver lures did the trick today. Only 1 hit on my downrigger. Running 2 colors down.
