I love the name of that lure company. The "crazy ivan" is a tactic often referred to by my group. It's a sudden sharp turn to the left or right that stalls the inside leadcore lines for a few seconds then a turn the other way to suddenly accelerate them and draw a strike...like the lure maker, we got the term from The Hunt for Red October where the Russian submarine captain deployed the trick. So if you are on the lake and hear a distant boat yell "Crazy Ivan!"...that's us!
