Launched on Mother Sunapee at 7 this AM with the lovely Karen and my first mate. Kicker was a bit cold blooded but finally came into it. Trolled until 4:30 this afternoon. 3 hits, no runs, 3 errors, 3 men left on base! I rarely have knot problems but today I had two large lake trout to within 15 feet of the boat. Both came off after being on for 4-5 minutes, the third never even tripped the rigger. Riggers at 15 and 25, 40 fow, trolling 1.4 to 2.2. Pink, Purple, Orange. First fish on was one of the lures that Karen taped up. Kicker never even burped all day long, at 4:30 we pulled lines and I fired up the 140. Obviously the long layoff hurt her not at all as she planed the Grady in short order. Made a 3/4 run back to George's Mills and loaded it up. Water is L-O-W. George's Mills launch leaves a little to be desired. Only downside of the day was the continuance of the now 16 day migraine from hell.
