I checked the Starfire downrigger rod that I have. It is an SF407, 8' length, 2 piece, for 4-8 lb line. It has the blue foam grip that goes to the butt of the rod. Like I said if you want it I suppose we could trade. Let me know and we can work out the details. I do like the action of the rod so I am assuming that yours is the same action. I don't really want anything that is heavier. If those daiwas were the Kokanee downrigger rods I would have been interested in one of those.
