Over the winter I got my Big Jon downriggers updated. New motors,line counters, new wire, new springs... It came with white tubing auto-stops that are about a foot long. Has anyone ever used them? It seems like it would scare the fish. Should I painted them black? Use the scotty stop beads? Any ideas?
