Lena and I fished Squam until 9 am yesterday, then got blown off. We were able to catch 2 Salmon, a Rainbow and a Bass. Salmon were 22" and 17" Rainbow was over 20". Missed one other good fish.
Today, I fished until 9:30 and managed one Salmon, 2 Rainbows. Salmon was 17.5", fat and very lively. Rainbows were 20.5" and 18.5". All fish were very healthy. All fish are back in the lake.
Both days fish were 19-27' on the riggers and about 4 colors deep. Hot lures, pink/gold DB,
red/white and blue Honeybee, and of course, orange/black dot Top Gun.
Met a board member at the docks, First Strike, Pete.
It was very nice talking with you about fishing and hunting.
