I like that idea I just don't know what it would cost the state (for tags)our license prices are high enough now. plus the cost to tag all the little guys since it mostly is volunteers who fin clip them. I also wonder if that would be harder on the babies as opposed to fin clipping??? just my opinion but I would think they would recover faster from shooting a tag behind the dorsal fin rather than clipping a fin off, but I do not know what the answer is. but I do like that idea, but probably too costly and most probably wouldn't send in the info UNLESS the state had a 800 number to call then I think more would participate.
