OK, here is the refrain so to speak. Left the ice cream stand in Gilford and followed my lovely lady home, for to leave off the Throbbin Rods for a rest until I move into something someplace before Thursday. Her GPS took us on a 2.5 hour trek from Gilford to New Ipswich. Stopped to gas up the truck, two tattooed dilholes parked in the no parking to go get their beer and I had to back out of the pumps to get going again. Dropped the boat at her house. Hot tub. Good night's sleep. Got up at 4 this AM and headed home. When I entered 89 at exit 6 I started to come up to speed when WHAM!!! I slammed on the brakes and checked my mirrors. Left - Check. Rear view - Check. Right side - WTF?!?! Mirror was folded right into the door and the glass was broken. Figured I prob hit a derby official thumbing a ride or something! Got out of the truck and walked down the break down lane, thinking I would find a reason. Then I hear flopping and thrashing. I walk up to the shoulder of the road ( raised) and a freakin TURKEY is thrashing around on the ground with an apparent broken neck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just kicked him, got back in the truck and drove home. What next - any asteroids scheduled to land on NH this week???
Throbbin Rods - new call name knitting needles.
