Very pricy...I started with buckets to slow me down, tried a sock and then got an aluminum Happy trolling plate. I was very happy with the trolling plate but eventually came across a six short shaft Johnson, was able to hang it on the transom and bought a steering connector rod for the front of the motors (large to small). I've been very happy with this system and it saves alot on gas...also it's like having a spare tire. I have not purchased the speed control yet but maybe soon. Trim is not a problem as I can pull the connector rod and lock the motor up out of the way for plane. Also quickly removes for taking the kids out tubing and I still have my trolling plate if I need it and I think it also helps get up on plane quicker. Just my .02 best of luck!
