Make sure the load rating of the tire is enough for the weight of the boat and engine and all the equipment you are putting on it.The brand tire you run will also make a difference.When I bought my boat it came with carlile tires....it had the proper load range and I only got 1 season out of them(Badly scalloped wear)I put another set of carlile same results.I am now on my forth season on loadstar brand and they show little wear.You can go with a heavier load range tire which could help you out also.good luck polebreaker
