Here's my boats report. Stopped at Screwy Louie's Tackle Shop on the way in. "How's the fishing?" I said. "Nobody's fishing!". "Why?" "It's June."
We still had a great time catching Kings, Steelheads,a Laker, Browns, Bass, and even some Alewives. Easy Ed and the Judge were on my boat. Easy Ed caught the 29" Laker and a 28" King, and a 4 1/2# Smallie, and some Steelhead. Jim caught several sm. King, Steelhead,one nice 26" Steelie, some Browns and Bass. One Brown was a 17" football that weighed just under 4#. I got a 26" King after Ed handed me the rod on his turn. All these fish were caught on Winni light tackle. Just had to fight them longer. We had to chase a couple of them. They had just stocked 1000's of Kings and Browns. Had to get out in the deeper water to get away from them. First time catching Steelhead. It was a blast on the light rods.
