Of course as Family we all loved my dad, Big John. The postings here have been very special to all of us, and it was wonderful to see so many of you at the services. The past 5 days have been a blur, but we check in here when we can.
We want to thank you for the kind words and would love for you to continue to his work as a student and caretaker of the sport, To Learn and Share. Continue being Stewards of your fishery, the State cant do it alone. Offer to help if you can at the Fall netting surveys, Email John Viar your reports, concerns, praises, observations. Believe me he listens and does what he can, of course remember he cannot work miracles and some problems need time...
Most importantly, get your kids and grandchildren involved in the sport and the fisheries. The single most important thing in my dads life was his wife and kids, his grandchildren, and his Salmon, Lakers and Bows on Squam, but also Winnie and the whole lakes region.
