Okay I'm going WAY off topic of a FFO license.
I'm using this simple analogy to illustrate if there are more stringent laws to enforce F&W laws littering etc. It doesn't matter if there isn't anyone present to enforce them. When funds are circumvented from their intended purposes by unethical legislators enforcement becomes unattainable. But the idiot masses continue to re-elect these dirt bags. IMHO and in a nutshell the major problem with this country is we have people that make a career out of politics which was not the original intent. THe founding father s wanted us to get into office to represent the people who elected you then get back to the real world so as to not lose perspective of what Joe Blow has to deal with everyday. Sorry for the political twist. Just my .02.
Too many people are lazy slobs that don't give a rats a$$ about anything but their immediate wants & needs. Owning shore front property I'm sure you're sadly convinced of this fact. From my experience the only way to deal with these troglodytes is peer pressure. Embarrass them into cleaning up their own mess. I did just this the other day to a lady who was going to leave her shopping cart rolling through the parking lot (in NH by the way). I told her face to face in front of her friend and several onlookers what I thought of such thoughtless lazy behavior. As I got into my truck I heard her friend say to her I was right. Driving away I saw her retrieve and escort her wayward shopping cart to the corral it was intended to go into. Bottom line I don't think slobs are limited to MA. Maybe more but that's it.
But back to my original statement which I stand by is that Winni is definitely managed as a put and take fishery and not a trophy fishery. I believe this topic was discussed at length on this very board last year. I am not knocking Winni or the NH F&W. This is what they want and it works for them.
I love to fish Winni and many other lakes in NH & throughout New England.
