LOOK UP YOUR CHARTER BOAT GUYS ON LAKE WINNI , AND LOOK WHAT THEY HAVE. MOST HAVE DOWNRIGGERS AND FOR BACK-UP THEY HAVE TWO JIGG BOXES ON EITHER SIDE .LOOK AT THEIR PERSONNAL PICTURES REALLY CLOSE AND YOULL SEE THE JIGG BOXES . WHAT YOU WONT SEE IS A JIGG BOX DEAD CENTER IN THE BACK THAT GOES LEFT AND RIGHT THAT SWINGS THE STREAMER LEFT AND RIGHT. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE. BELIEVE ME I KNOW WHAT WORKS. DOES THIS MAKE SENCE ? P.S. THATS A SECRET AT LAKE GEORGE THAT THEY WONT TELL YOU FOR SUCCESS . DROP THE PLANNER BOARDS AND THINK THIS ONE OUT .
"I DONT SEE TOO MANY CHARTER BOATS USEING PLANNER BOARDS IN THE SPRINGTIME".
YOU"RE NOT LOOKING VERY HARD, BENNY! ;-)
Benny I use my boards every day!!!
I'm not a charter but do stack lines off planners in the spring!
i run planers all over nh and maine, all season long. you dont see it in maine much at all. my planers jig, my downrigger jigs, my jigging boxes jig. sometimes no jigging outproduces, its good to have all the options. theres places that can only be fished with a planer board
i have jig boxes too, and have had great success with them, but there are days when they'll hit the planer boards lines vs. the jiggers. if you're not running planer boards, you're losing out. period.
you sure are plugging the jig boxes lately huh benny?
