Took the wife to the lake this morning, was on the water just before 6:00. Fished in 60-80ft of water set riggers at 45', 40 ft, 35 ft and 30 ft. Landed 5 lakers, 2 rainbows & couple of bass. Best fish was a 4- 4.5lb laker, rest were smaller and the 2 bows were about 13". Lakers were at 45' the bows 35'. Bows on mini gun motor oil, lakers on stinger scorpions Kevorkian and raspberry shark.
Went to breakfast at 830 back on the water at 930. Set lines at 51, 46, 41 and 38 over 60- 100' of water. Put on Mooselooks on 3 deeper riggers and a midget at 30ft set 50' back. Caught 3 more lakers, 1 bow and 1 16" salmon at 40'.
Did not see very many boats out there trolling in the wolfborough/alton/ back side of rattlesnake area. Salmon fishing on Winni has seen better days!
You're right, Landlocks have crashed. I worked hard last nite/this morning on back to back charters. One 3 YO an one 4 YO last nite w/several small Bows 24' - 35' down Lead an D. R.'s. Orange/Copper metal/B&G flys.
Thanks for sharing. Capt. Bob
