I also had a tough time w/charter yesterday. Two LDR’s on some nice big fish w/B&G’s fly 35’ down on ski-jiggers. Couple small Lakers an a SMB also at those depths. Fished w/clients 6:00am - 11:00am Sandy, Welch area.
I didn't see you or I would have given a shout on the radio. Riggers were at
30 t0 35' and six colors of lead by 11am. The temp was 55.7 at 40 feet. 53.5 at
55 feet.As Hap said, I hate getting skunked!
On a good note...What they stocked this year was beautiful at 7 fish per pound! They haven't been stocked that big in many years... We should have some great fishing in a couple years if the Nashua federal hatchery continues raising the salmon...I know they want to.
