Started out at Black Point.Boats and bait in the area.No bites.Headed up towards Rattle.
Double hookup resulted in a Rainbow 15 1/2 inch and a Laker 18 1/2 inch.Next bite on lead
took a Rainbow at 14 inch.Next up a nice 19 inch Rainbow.Small Salmon on a rigger.A few missed
bites.Last fish was a nice laker which came off at the side of the boat.Riggers and lead both
produced. 55 to 65 ft on riggers, 7 colors of lead. Gold/Orange,Chappy's smelt, Wonderbread.Fished
until noon. Calm surface, hot temp.
It was one of the better ones for this year.Hoping to make one more trip.Lakers
were really stacked up in the deep holes off Black Point. Some boats were jigging.Any
where from 40 to 65'for Salmon. They have been tough to come by,at least for me.
