I purchased 2 magnum 10 STX's and they are amazing with free pinochle. The 5 STX does not come with a swivel base, so I opted for the 10 STX with a swivel base. The weight stops on the water line every time. Up and down fast, you can release with the clutch but I didn't do that as it was perfect. I recommend getting a retro-easy weight retriever or scotty retriever as reaching over the side of the boat pulling a 10lbs weight and keeping the weight under control while hooking the line to the clip can be a bit frustrating at times.
