I repowerd a 22 foot Grady White Sea Farer last year with a 4 stroke Yammaha 225. Unfortunately, since the motor was rather heavy for my transom (4-strokes weigh more than 2-strokes), I had to get rid of my 70+ pound trolling motor. My question is how slow will my 4-stroke 225 go at a its lowest idle? Will I be able to troll slow enough to cach salmon? Any advise would be appreciated.
