Was invited to fish on the Cool Water this am. (Along with Squam John and Slipknot) Just be at Fuller's Store at 5:30 am is what he said. Really got up early so I would not be late. Along came John and Slip and we waited, and waited, and waited............ Lucky we had spare boats nearby.knew the boy was fishing early on the Peggy C so he picked us up at the dock. He had caught a couple and we picked up another when Trav. finally woke up. We picked him up at the dock and made him sit on the bow for 2 hours and think about what he had done. We finally got going and got 6 more Salmon, a rainbow, and dropped a couple of lakers and Salmon. We had a good time is spite of the waiting around. (The smashed alarm clock was found attached to Salmonitis's Vechicle by a bungee cord)
Salty, your a hard man, Travis was between the sheets, not alone I might add, so if he had a choice, us or her, I guess he did what he had to do.
Now we can all say we were "stood up by one of the best".
Seriously, my alarm screws up once in a while, but if I'm fishing I'm up long before it goes off.
We had a good time anyhow, even if we had had a stand in Charter Captain and boat, the Peggy Sue did a fine job, the Stand in for Trav put us on a fish and once Trav showed up he put us on some more fish.
Nice fishing with both you guy again and it was nice meeting you Craig (Slipnot) we'll do it again on Squam.
I can attest to that, Salty was primed,Trav knew he was in for it and took it like a man. It was a real fun day, allot of joking around, some good laughs, fish caught, weather was OK, a little rough on the way in..
Thanks to AJ and Salty for being up for the task but I don't think Salty was planning on filling his tank today, big tank and expensive gas over 200.00 I think to fil er up, ouch..
LOL Don't feel bad Travis, I've done that to my buddy Robert before once i had to drive like a maniac to catch him 10miles down the road But at least i still got to go fishing LOL, Talk about lucky though Slipknot not only got to fish with you and John, but also A.J. and Salty Lucky guy glad to hear ya had fun anyways LOL You probably won't live that one down all season LOL Take Care God Bless and Tight Lines Dave!!! I can take it guy's because I was the jerk who did not get out of bed! Glad I did finally get up, had a great time fishing with all of you. It was a pain sitting in that little seat on top of the cuddy for two hours and than they didn't even let me catch any fiah! LOL!
