Guess it all depends... a lot of times when several people are in the same spot, they try to use the same routes to keep out of eachothers hair. If too many to play follow the leader I've seen times on my friends boat when we'd just run one board instead of two and keep the one toward land as much as possible.
I would think as long as you kept it within 75 feet there's no harm... By law aren't we suppose to stay 150 feet away from another boat anyways???
