A group of RFP's had our first fishing "Armada" today.
Seven of us (in three boats) met at 5:30/6AM at the Meredith launch and proceeded down Meredith Bay. Right off the bat Salty's boat with John S. and White Cap on board got a double. Nice way to start the day.
The other boats Captained by Gray Ghost with Floydo and Ardvaark with Jack M. headed on toward Weirs and around Governor's.
We ended up with a total of 11 fish landed (9 salmon, a nice rainbow--very red on both sides of the gill plate-- and a Laker) and many more "incomplete landings".
We came in at 1:30PM and the seven of us had an enjoyable lunch together at Guiseppes.
All agreed it was a real good day--beautiful weather, good fishing, and real nice to meet some new friends and fishing partners.
