took the wife out on newfy last night.got to the honey hole 5:30 put first line back 100' and down 10' put stacker on turned around to get 2nd rod go to put it out and see a good size fish jump 3' out of the water behind the boat FISH ON 20" 4lbs fatty rainbow. then put line back out 100' down 10'back and before i could get the stacker on rod popped again another good fish jumping dehind the boat this was a salmon 23" 4to 5 lbs easily. both fished released for another day i thought for sure we were gonna slay them but that was it for us trolled another 2 hrs with just one release with no hook up. the hot lure was no PIMP SPOON went old school 61 sutton c/s
We have some pretty fancy 61's too, they also catch fish but we don't use them til the fish go down, not exactly sure why we wait til then, maybe it's time ?????????
