Anyone wanting to launch in Wolfeboro at the railroad station should know that you will not be able to navigate under the bridge, due to the rising water and very strong current. There should be no problem at the town docks or at the Libby Museum on Rte. 109, north of town.
Launched at Town Docks lake side for free, never any problems and parking is just a short walk up the old RR grade.
Fishing was excellent, 12 to 15 hits both mornings, 1/2 dozen long distance release another 1/2 dozen carefully released. The son brought his mother a mothers day salmon for dinner. Sure was lonely on the lake this weekend. No one out from Alton to rattlesnake to Wolfeboro, rain melted the competition.
