Just a quick question. F&G rules state no taking of live Salmon off the boat or something along those lines. Does this hold true if you were to be lucky enough to catch an entry fish?
The last three years that we regestered fish, we were able to have them weighed, measured and we released them back alive. A few hours in the livewell does not seem to bother them. Its a common pratice done on some Champlain derbies. I do not believe there's a problem because there's usally one of the boys in green right at the weigh station.
