I have a 15hp 1993 Johnson that I have been having a difficult time with the last couple of times I was out. It seems that it isn't getting gas when I try to start it. (pushbutton electric start) Once it turns over it will run and troll perfectly for hours. If it stalls while fighting a fish or idling, I have the same problem and it won't start for 1/2 hour. It seems that it doesn't get that initial burst of gas to start it. My gas line is fine and the bulb is hard. Does anyone have any advice before the derby comes? Does this engine have a fuel pump?
