After much deliberation Sampson and I have decided to fish the derby after all. My apologies to anyone that was hoping to win a new boat... Its ours now. Hehe
Dave and (his buddy) Rob may or may not be aboard the Slipknot (the boat...not me) for Friday and Sunday. Won't know until tonight, but hoping to have 8 lines in the pond if/when they join us.
John's son David may even jump aboard this weekend... We have his ticket, now we just need him!
I went out for a bit this afternoon to check the lake conditions and the boat after some minor repairs/changes... boat is good... lake is high with a lot of debris still. So be careful in the low light of the morning... stuff is hovering just under the surface! Saw a lot of big branches and prop eating BUSHES... yeah, whole bushes floating!
Good luck to all... hopefully one of "the team" wins the boat/boats... That'd be pretty cool.
