We had some success on Fri and Sat. Caught a total of 8 salmon, one lake trout and 1 bass ( don't ask about the bass) on Fri. Most small but did land one 19 " and another around 2.5 lbs.
Sat, caught 7 salmon, 1 - 21" about 2 3/4 lbs.Another 19 " one.
All the others were in the 15 to 18 " range.
Best catching we have done. Great success with the #37 Grey Ghost Top Gun lure. On the rigger, down 20ft and about 15 to 25 ft behind the ball. I varied the length behind the ball and it didn't matter.
Fished a lot of the lake. Good luck around West Alton.
Caought 1/2 of our fish on the down rigger and the other 1/2 on lead core, 3 to 4 colors out.
Great time. Horrible weather on Sat but all in all, a great time.
