I see from another post (on trolling plates) that Greyghost installed an alternator on his kicker. I have a Merc 2000 4 cycle, 5 hp and have wanted to do the same for a long time. Where did you get the alternator and how much did it set you back? Was it easy to install? Or did you have it installed at a shop?
