sebago reoprt

fishing started out a little slow on memorial day weekend with zero fish on sat, 3 on sun, then 7 on mon. then it really picked up with over 2 doz hits on tues with lots landed, and by thu we were getting about 3 doz hits with a good amt being salmon 4 to a little over 5 pounds. very few togue caught, but we only spent about 2 hours fishing for them during the week. this last weekend it slowed down again. this year compared to last is night and day. lots of 4 to 5 pounders, cant wait for the weekend. suttons, db's in pearl, orange pearl, chappy's modified orange black pearl, top guns in purple and orange (another chappy painted lure), top gun purple/green with orange. that pearl db was incredible

Re: sebago reoprt

Nice looking fish

Re: sebago reoprt

Where are you fishing???? The typical haunts like the pasture and off the NW bar? I live just down the road from the lake but haven't fished it for years b/c its been so slow. Maybe I should try again!

Re: Re: sebago reoprt

Nice fish! The second picture looks like you are out in front of Nason's Beach? I usually fish out in front of camp O-AT-KA, there is a nice ledge there it goes from 85' to 10' fast.

Re: Re: sebago reoprt

from the point below nasons, north past spider, up to the house with the frog eyed dormers. this year there are lots of 4 to 5 pound fat salmon, with a good amount of fish in the 15 to 21 inch range. also a few skippers from this years stocking. about a third of the fish dont have fin clips. most of the bigger fish are clipped on the middle bottom right side (2001?) and the real small ones are clipped rear top fin. some of the native fish were 3 plus pounds and just plain reel screamers. 2 weeks ago they were farther north at the songo and muddy. some days have been slow, but others have made up for it. have not tried the big shoal in the middle or the pasture yet this year, but there was a boat speed trolling the big shoal and looked to be doing well, dont know if he was picking up lakers as thats what i usually catch there, but he was trolling between 3 and 4 and gave a good report to the biologist taking surveys.might try the speed trolling as sometimes it has been a killer on other lakes ive fished. we kept the speed changing between 1.7 to 2.6 mph
