I have not been out since the derby...I have out of town guests in for the weekend from minnisota (walleye guys)....so needless to say, the legacy is on the line this weekend....
what is the preferred depth this weekend, and what time in the am have you seen the most hits the past week or so ?
We actually caught one four feet (yup 4') down on the rigger and 30 feet back a couple days ago. But then again we also got one down around 30 feet in the same hour.
Have been catching fish from sunrise til noon with no HARD SET patterns...
Actually we coulda been flyfishing out there as we saw a TON of salmon dimpling the surface for mosquitoes on top.
Lake temp only varied like 7 degrees from top to 80 feet down where we checked it... so they must still be wide spread through the water column???
