The day did not start the way one would like, had a tire blow on the trailer at 4 AM, took a little while to put the spare on, got the launch 20 minutes late to meet my fishing partner, I’m glade he is patient.

Jack McGinnis and I fished all the known and unknown spots with an assortment of TGs, DBs in depths of 20 to 50’, with riggers and lead; one SM and one Laker 28.5” on a SWR with dodger/fly.

Marked a lot of Lakers snoozing on the bottom. Bait fish all over the place, a lot of bait balls and plums in every area that we fished. Have never seen this much bait, no wonder the salmon and Lakers are big and don’t touch metal imitation smelts when that’s all they have to do is turn their head gulp breakfast, lunch and supper when ever they want.
