I ran a charter yesterday afternoon. Guests were Jim and son jim of jim's lures / jim's jigomatic / well he does all kinds of tackle. First off a great couple of guys that really enjoy fishing and it was a pleasure to fish with them as they are just as excited as me when those salmon bust out of the water it is great.

We met at the center harbor docks at 3 pm and headed out towards 3 mile island and trolled south. It wasn't long that we had salmon and lakers hitting our downriggers and lead core a few small salmon that we jumped off at the leader a couple lakers 15 and 19 that we pulled up, then 1 beauty of a salmon that hit the lead and dragged all 5 colors immidiately to the surface and started dancing and threw the hook he was a cocker, and a couple nice salmon 20"+ 2.88 and 3.40 lbs. we at one point had all 4 riggers go off and watched the poles dance but couldn't get to them because we had rods and nets in our hands trying to land the ones we already had on, not really a terrible problem to have! fish were taken at 26-30 feet deep and on 5 colors right in the mid-day sun/clouds. then it went quiet for a while and Travis called when he got out of work so we went over to the dock and picked him up for the rest of the evening. we went fishless for an hour or more and then around 7:45 we got into the salmon again and boated 3 more nice fish. (travis thinks it was his secret "THINGS" but i am sure it was Jim's black rod that was the late night special and had nothing to do with Travis, Right Guys?

The lures we used were jims that caught most of the fish and 1 on a DB Rangely special and 2 on sutton 61. The colors i couldn't even explain he has some wild stuff spots and stripes and beadie eyes, but bottom line they work no question about it. They will be available soon here and are already in western Mass. Popular on the Quabbin. Very good smelt imitation. Soon to be a go to lure in everybody's box.

Huh... that sure doesn't look like the YoAdrien there... Are you telling me Travis actually ALLOWED you to captain his boat???

Nice to see you two are working the charters together. That's got to be the best charter team out there!

In all seriousness though... good to hear you guys had an enjoyable night. Keep on keepin' on, charter dudes.

On a side note... Adrien, I had to go rotate the tires and work on the engine after our email chat the other night. I'm okay now... back to normal! Haha

I ran Travis' boat for the evening. I think i am trustworthy enough?

For a shortened evening trip it was easier to just take out the cool water II. I will run my boat when i have regular morning trips.

We will get something out about these lures soon there is not just 1 lure there are many jim hand shapes them all and hand tapes them all. some are quite unique many shapes and sizes.

Slipknot, i did the same and just for good measure this morning i changed the oil in all the tractors too and i spilled some oil on myself just to be certain.

No, I figured it made good sense to use his boat for that run. My first thought when I started reading your report was "wow, I'm surprised he trailered for an afternoon run"... Awesome to have good friends, isn't it!? You two are gonna do quite well this summer.

Not only can YoAdrien put fish in the boat , he also can grow awesome strawberry's as he brought som up for us yesterday! Thanks Yo they are great!
