Major League Debut!

This is a short highlight video clip of my grade school friend Jeff Fulchino. He lived only a 1/2 mile from me when we were younger and then he left for baseball camps and other schools with good baseball programs when we got to high school. He just got called up to the big leagues 2 days ago. He pitches for the Marlins. he is 6'5" 250 and has a 95 mph fastball. This was the second batter he faced. Red Sox go to Marlins next week for 3 games hopefully we will get to see him pitch.

Just highlight (click and hold on the top left corner and drag mouse across until it is all blue) the whole thing below, right click, then copy, then go to where you type in web sites and erase what is there, then right click the box, and paste, then hit enter, and if you have windows media player it will show you a 15 second highlight clip from marlins website.

Re: Major League Debut!

CRAP... that was close! Quite a defensive play right there!!!
Makes it pretty neat when you know someone on a major league team. That's cool.

Re: Re: Major League Debut!

Not to be a name thrower, but Tommy Glavin and my son were Co-Captains of the High School Hockey team. Tommy could gave played pro hockey too, but choose baseball, smart move. Tommy used to hang out here allot, a really nice kid from a super nice family, we are and have been very happy for him. I still think of him as a "kid" and he's one of the older veteran in the majors.

Your right, it is nice to say "I know/knew that guy, etc", going to a game this week (Tuesday) if it don't rain, be great if Tommy pitches ????

Re: Major League Debut!

Great to see Jeff doing well. I know Jeff and his family as well. I went to high school with him at Trinity in Manchester. My brother was really good friends with him as well. He graduated with my brother and I graduated the year before that. I did not know that he had made it out of the minor leagues and into the majors. I will show my brother the video when he gets home. Jeff would know us as John and Joe St.Pierre (or Burger and Dogger, our high school nicknames).

Thanks for the info YOAdrien. You never know what youa are going to find out on this board!

Re: Re: Major League Debut!
