Plenty of pollock at the isles of shoals with a few mackrel mixed in. Cannot seem to find any bait fish just outside of the piscataqua river. Any how the tide was turning [low to high] as we got back into the river first drift by the old prison we picked up a 30" striper fat boy!! 2nd drift lobster pot under the surface broke both rigs off. Dam things!! 3rd drift doubles by the navy yard close to the cliff wall 25 " of water 2-small stripers 26" & 24" after a few more drifts the wind and boat traffic was out of control. Decided to do 6 more drifts under the Rt 95 bridge [N.H. side]before we pulled out the boat 1st drift WHAMO!!!! 37 INCH COW decided to play a little tug of war with me so we moved out to deeper water and played the game and I won. Caught and released. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to post pics on the message board so I will send it to the bragging board. 5- more drifts resulted with 2 small stripers 24" & 26" what a day we had!! The fish are in the river boys go get em!!
Thanks for the report. Lobster pots are great when they're yours and they're full of lobsters!!! Have you been chumming while looking for macs? Granted it was a week and a half ago, but we slayed macs out at the Isles' while chumming a good distance(1/2 mile) off White Island, while my buddy in close(100 yards or so) didn't get a one. They could have moved north by now.
first, you have to have your picture published to the WWW somewhere that anyone can see it if they type in the address. that is the only tricky part, once you do that it is as easy as a couple letters of HTML Code and there it is
are your pictures published to the web somewhere or are they just on your computer?
there are places like www.myfishingpictures.com and msn groups i have an MSN group you can join (free) and i will add a folder of charlie's pictures and then you can post them there, then put them on here, let me know what you want to do.
Was hoping to make it to the ocean yesterday, but sadly... did not. I have heard many mixed reports on the mackerel and pollock. Seems they are spotty this year?
