On the Lake 5:30, 6:10 20" salmon on TG wonderbread, 6:15 shorty on TG guide, 6:45 shorty on TG guide, 7:30 shorty TG wonderbread. off the lake 8:30. do it again Monday.
Was up there myself today. Finally got some salmon in my boat. My efforts have been slow and I don't go out for them much.
Lost a 16-17" netting at the boat and got two shorts trolling 2 lead lines @ 4-5 colors. Funny when you get those small ones and don't know it until you go to reel in. Wow, look, I had an 8 inch fish on there that I don't remember setting the hook on....
DB orange / gold and a chartruese spotted top gun were the two that we had tied on. (still saving up for more gear to increase the rod count :) ).
Wind was good and kept the lake down to a min. of boats for a holiday weekend sunday. I left before noon so maybe this afternoon that changed?
Salmon Slammer and I had a great start to the morning. Stated at 5:00 a.m. Caught 4 Salmon in the first 45 minutes, then a lull and 1 Laker and then another Salmon and then a couple of L.D.R. Stopped at 9:00 a.m. due to the boat traffic in the area we were in. All together 5 Salmon and 1 Laker in the boat, most on Green Fuzzy DB and N.H.Guide DB. Salmon caught at 3 to 4 colors of lead and 20 ft. on the rigger. Laker at 60'. Until next time, best of luck to all.
