Went to York Beach today with yhe family. Some how my surf rods made it into the car with a pack of frozen macks. Any way broke away from family day for an hour and a half. Good day nothing big except that one line screamer I had on for a few minutes until it broke me off in the rocks. But I did manage 6 landed fish no keepers but I don't care, just good healthy fish willing to give my bait runner a ride. Love that sound!!!
I'm heading to York in a couple weekends for a family outing as well. If by chance, my surf rod happens to be in the car as well, do you have any suggestions about were to go for them?
Longsand Beach on the rocks to the left looking out. There's a dead log on the rocks about 15-20 ft. long on those rocks don't go beyond that I never have any hits. Put your bait right where the shoreline curls around out about 30 - 100 ft from shore. In comming always best action for me there. Good Luck. There's alot of rocks so bring some tackle the big ones know how to use those rocks as I said in my earlier post. By the time you head up the blues usually are smashin that shoreloine too.
I know giving out fishing spots is sometimes as painful as walking on hot coals so the info is definitely appreciated. Once again the great people on this site pull through!!!
