dont know if the video will post, but this weekend while fishing i hooked into a small salmon, went to check the line and the reel just started reeling it in. was fishing in wards cove, dont know the story of old ward. maybe the sirit of the reel knew just what to do, or maybe there is some other explanation, but i had witnesses and took a video with the camera, hope it posts
That is freaky... must be some scientific explanation... such as the metal of the reel reacting with the magnetic energy emitted from the engine or something... But still very freaky. Must have had you looking over your shoulder didn't it? Nice video.
