Re: Re: QUEBEC NORD TRIP

Awesome... been there caribou hunting before... beautiful country!

Re: Re: Re: QUEBEC NORD TRIP

Great looking laker and they taste better up there, had shore lunch of brookies, lakers and northerns. No lack of fish in that part of the country. Been there on an ouananiche (landlock salmon) hunt 10 years ago trolling flies, great fishing.

Re: QUEBEC NORD TRIP

What was the biggest Brookie?

Re: Re: QUEBEC NORD TRIP

Awesome fish and looks like a great time! Where do you get info to book a trip like that?

Re: Re: Re: QUEBEC NORD TRIP

I used to book thru SPORT TRAVEL in Montreal, but my friend there retired---I'll get the info for you--
I now use personal contacts with Air Saquenay and Club Chambeaux in Quebec.kenny g

Re: Re: QUEBEC NORD TRIP

Most were in the #1.5/14" range. The "big one" that I
first thought was a laker was lost at the boat. My
fishing partner said it was #5-#6--he was trying to net it. I'm bummed!
The average brookie there is not very sophisticated--
chase lures right up on the rocks--but they "go to school" fast---you have to rest a hot spot for a day or two.
