Re: fishingtoday

fished this morning 5:30 till 11:00 , started out at black point 18" salmon 5 minutes in the water then for the next hour and a half 3 more salmon 16" 18" 20" and a20" laker ,all on the downriggers from 40' to 65' also had 3 hit and misses then it died down around 8:00 so I moved up to diamond island and caught 3more salmon 20" 17" 18 " and a 18" rainbow, andhad 3 more hit and misses all on the riggers from 36' to 50' . lures used were pumpkin head top gun and #61 sutton . it was a little rough up by diamond island but the fish were bitting. had a good day for only having 2 rods in the water which Ishould of had 6 but 2people didn't show so I fished by my self tough in that wind but did manage. had a great time talking to matty from hooked on salmon , charlies charters and fishhawk . hope to be out their again this weekend . "reel it in "

Re: Re: fishingtoday

Launched at Ames Farm the same time "reel it in" did and we got right into them between Diamond and Rattlesnake. Totals were 12 salmon from a couple runts to 23", 10 lakers from 18" to 25" and one rainbow around 17". Just like "Reel it in" we used only a pumkin TG and a sutton 61 between 45' and 50'. The wind was tough in a smaller boat but the fish never quit. We did at 10, because the boys arms were tired and I was a little whooped myself. We kept 4 salmon, all stuffed with baby white perch.
