I used to worry about falling asleep at the wheel when I commuted back and forth to Squam allot, up early, long day on the Lake and then a long ride home. Fortunatey never an incident, or even close.

Sorry to hear about your accident, but the good news is all can be fixed and/or replaced and you'll be on the pond again, real soon we all hope.
