fished the good lake mon am dark thirty , took a group of first timer flatlanders out . fished the hog the first hour - nothing - , moved to the middle basin -slow start found a huge pod of bait and did laps , a soon as the sun broke thru (briefly) things picked up , must have had 20 good hits but very few hookups ?? the newbies dropped most of the ones that did stay on . odd day - so many tags - so little fish , makes we wonder if the ole' whipsta put the hex on my db's ??? still getting lots of runts not sure what woke them up - awaiting the day the cows resurface - -
the crew quit early / underdressed/no coffee etc etc.
