Went to same spot as last Sat. Decided to try the same thing. This time it was only Grandpa, Son#1 (that's me LOL) and Grandson, (Our buddy is in Washington state hunting elk "Lucky SH T") Dad starts his drive, about 1 hour later calls on Radio "Jumped something its heading toward the road" waited Nothing, 1/2 hour later Dad says "I think i went by you guys have Nick come up the road past you in case i jump something on the way to the road". Nick starts walking up the road Holy Crap!!!!!!!!!! This big doe had bedded down about 50ft from me and i never saw it or her it UGHHHHHHHH She walked right in front of me about 12ft away stopped 3 times looked at me as if to say "" Dumb Hunter You shot at me last week but you can't shoot at me this week UGHHHHHHHHHHHH) Oh well at least i saw her up close but the longer you look at them it seems the horns start growing LOL Ended up seeing one more take off as we drove up the road to the next hunt but that was it. Great Family time once again and 2 weeks in a row i see deer, Things are looking good in the good old N. Country I can see a monster before the end of the season!!!!!!!!
